Big Show is expected to be medically cleared to wrestle at Night of Champions.
Jeff Jarrett gave a ‘State of the Union’ address regarding TNA to Betweentheropes.com. He said that he has started training in the gym again but with regards to his return to wrestling, “I told myself when I stepped out of the ring I wasn’t going to rush anything… Obviously I’ve had some things that have distracted me over the last year and a half that put my priorities in other places, but I’m getting the itch again.” However, when it comes to him appearing at Slammiversary, he said “There’s always a chance in professional wrestling, but it’s slim and none.” He also highlighted three factors as being necessary for TNA to increase its PPV buyrates – establishing the brand; marketing power; a publicity stunt capturing mainstream interest.
Dennis Rodman has also signed on for Hulk Hogan’s new Celebrity Championship Wrestling show.
