Wild and Ducks make a swap.
The Minnesota Wild sent a third round draft pick to the Anaheim Ducks for defenseman Marc-Andre Bergeron. His 38 goals the past three years rank ninth among NHL defensemen.
Bergeon has a hard shot, but is questionable in his own zone. But the Wild needed an offensive defenseman to replace injured Kurtis Foster who is still recovering from a broken leg.
