Ring of Honor has announced the first two matches for their August 2nd Death Before Dishonor VI Hammerstein show and boy are they blockbuster match-ups.

Announced first, the Murder City Machine Guns will make a rare New York City appearance in a match against arguably the best tag team in the world, Kevin Steen & El Generico. This is a dream match that Ring of Honor fans have been foaming at the mouth for since the Machine Guns made their return to Ring of Honor in Detroit and Chicago. It’s seriously going to be crazy awesome.

The second announced match will have Naomichi Marufuji face Go Shiozaki in an extremely rare Pro Wrestling NOAH match-up. The former GHC champion will face Kobashi’s protege in New York City and between the chops thrown and the high flying moves executed, this is going to be sure to thrill.

In Dayton news, Roderick Strong will have Chris Hero all to himself in a bout scheduled for 6/27. After the events that transpired in Philly, Strong is said to be “PISSED” and the new, serious Chris Hero is going to have his work cut out for him.

The first ever match-up between Bryan Danielson and Claudio Castagnoli has been signed for Chicago on 6/28. Who will come out on top when the “Best in the World” faces the “Hey!” guy?

Ring of Honor has announced that they’ve been discussing talent exchanges will AAA. What will this mean for the company as they begin to look to bring in Lucha stars from Mexico. We’ll have more as it breaks.
