F4Wonline.com has posted notes from today’s WrestleMania 25 press event in Houston, TX, with CM Punk answering questions about Benoit’s death (he killed himself a year ago today — wow… my heart still aches for Chris, Nancy and Daniel’s families and friends) and his Cubs hat, Batista talking about his love of MMA, and Vince McMahon hiding behind a curtain.
Some notes from Raw from F4W: Batista needed stitches but both he and Edge were okay after bumping heads; Melina hurt her ankle; and some local TX press actually reported Vince’s Raw-ending angle as real news.
Prowrestling.net is reporting that Jim Ross’ blog comment about WWE installing equipment in his home makes sense since WWE recently did the same for Michael Cole, who resides in Texas. Also: HHH knew in advance he’d be moving to Smackdown (in fact, head writer Michael Hayes had been pushing for it), and the match vs. John Cena was originally slated for Summerslam but moved up to Night of Champions around WrestleMania time.
The “exclusives” tab on the WWE.com home page is now featuring video interviews with all the drafted talent, who speak to Joey Styles about the moves.
Speaking of WWE.com, PWInsider.com is reporting that a “supplemental draft” will take place beginning at noon tomorrow on the company’s site, in order to make some more minor roster switches that I’m guessing will go into effect following Sunday’s PPV. (Update: WWE.com has confirmed this story.)
