TNA Plans for Joe, Nash, Steiner, Trigg & More

News

The current TNA plan is to run the Samoa Joe vs Kevin Nash title match on the August or September PPV. Many expected it to be kept until Bound For Glory in October but the company wants something different for that show.

Scott Steiner further aggravated his injured knee at recent TNA house shows. His ACL was fully torn and required surgery last week, so now he’s expected to be out of action for six months.

Frank Trigg has been getting pro-wrestling training when he comes to TNA in Orlando. The company is hoping to get a Trigg and Kurt Angle tag team going at some point in the near future, with early reports indicating that Trigg is a natural when it comes to wrestling.

Despite rumours to the contrary, TNA has no interest in bringing in Orlando Jordan.

Jeff Jarrett is a big supporter of Shantelle Taylor. Her trial match with TNA was said to be nothing special but she has won more admirers backstage via her matches with Awesome Kong.

Cody Deaner, an indie wrestler from Ontario, Canada, is under a TNA contract despite never having been used. He is expected to start soon.
