Superstar Blogs Featured on WWE.com

Columns, News, Reviews

If you’re not familiar, WWE.com has added several superstar profiles to Fan Nation, and many of the wrestlers and other WWE talent have been blogging on the site. Here are some recent highlights, and a full list of links to the profiles…

Elijah Burke continues to write his Elijah Experience, even though he’s been MIA on ECW. “I’m so sick of all these people claiming to be from the streets and rough parts of the neighborhoods but yet when you see them in a fight, their punches are reminiscent of someone from Beverly Hills who has never been in a fight in their life, like The Miz. Look, if you’re gonna represent a certain place in the world where most of us grew up throwing fists (because we had to), then at least have enough respect to learn how to throw a proper punch; I don’t care if you’re from Brooklyn, East New Jersey or Jamaica (well, Jamaicans usually just throw bottles and rocks at each other, so I’ll excuse ’em), the fact that you fight like a wimp, but claim to be a pimp is just ridiculous.”

– Intercontinental Champ Kofi Kingston wrote this about his first Raw after winning the belt: “I had to do a photo shoot with the title and the photographer wanted me to make some ‘mean’ faces, but I couldn’t stop smiling because I was thinking of all the history behind the title.”

Tommy Dreamer promised a couple of weeks ago that he would soon be posting his “uncensored opinion of the state of ECW and my own career.”

Natalya Neidhart wrote a blog entry mostly on her dad and new hair color, but also on her upcoming opponent for the new Smackdown title: “That brings me to the new Diva’s Championship and how I feel about facing Michelle McCool. I have to admit, I have been watching her very closely and carefully studying her in ring ability. I have a different respect for her now, because she has proven to me she is a contender and has the heart of a true fighter. In fact, she is one of the hardest working divas in the WWE and she has a ‘no quit’ attitude. The question remains, though, can she survive in my ‘dungeon?’ Let’s go!”

Joey Styles wrote the following about his new job: “Not only do I much prefer my new duties with WWE.com to my former duties at the WWE announce table, but in retrospect I wish this position had been available in June 2005. The end of my announcing career should have coincided with that of the Original ECW at One Night Stand 2005. Professionally speaking, I will always see myself as the voice of ECW and I think everyone I work with and WWE fans around the world do as well and that makes me feel a sense of accomplishment on behalf of everyone who enjoyed part or all of the Original ECW.”

Jim Ross, who always has time to blog, wrote this about last week’s Smackdown: “Jeff Hardy vs. John Morrison Friday night was as good as any match on WWE TV this week for my money. Both these two young, superstars need to be in the upper echelon mix on WWE TV without question. I actually guess tht both Jeff and Morrison are already there but this match really demonstrated that these two men can be money ball players.”
