There are a couple films opening up this week that are aimed at two totally different groups of people. One is garnered more towards younger women and shows a tale of friendship and getting through life together. The other is aimed at stoners and making people laugh. At least one of those films sounds good to me, but I’m willing to bet they don’t overtake the top spot from a certain Caped Crusader.

Pineapple Express – Starring Seth Rogen, James Franco, Gary Cole, Ed Begley Jr., and more. Stoner Dale Denton has only one reason to visit his equally lazy dealer Saul Silver: to purchase weed. Specifically a rare new variety called Pineapple Express. But when Dale becomes the only witness to a murder by a crooked cop and the city’s most dangerous drug lord, he panics and dumps his roach of Pineapple Express at the scene. Hell Ride – Starring Dennis Hopper, Michael Madsen, Vinnie Jones, and Larry Bishop. The story deals with the characters Pistolero, the Gent and Comanche and the deadly, unfinished business among them.
