DON’T QUESTION THAT BURNS INSIDE!

It’s Matt Striker and Todd Grisham at the announce table to start the show.

Tommy Dreamer over Colin Delaney by DDT
Colin doesn’t look very happy about this match. Striker sounds a whole hell of a lot like Tazz in what he’s saying and his announce style. Good thing they found something before he turned into Mike Sanders the second.

Colin tries to run away to start, but Dreamer chases and catches Colin. Collin is thrown around from pillar to post until Tommy misses a punch and winds up punching the ring post. The advantage doesn’t last long for Colin. Dreamer hits a shot with a kendo stick, brings Colin into the ring and hits a pump handle fall away slam modified with a kendo stick.

Dreamer sets up a Tree of Woe and lines up a trash can between his feet and Colin’s face. WOW! Striker makes a Duke the Dumpster Drosse reference! Dreamer hits the drop kick and goes for an elbow off the second rope but misses. Moments later Dreamer hits a DDT onto a stop sign and this match is over.

Miz and Morrison are backstage with Lena Yada to talk bout how awesome they think the Dirt Sheet was last week. Too bad they got their asses kicked by Matt Hardy and Mark Henry and set up tonight’s main event tag match between the Douches vs. Hardy and Henry.

The Smackdown rebound really makes Edge look like a superstar. I’m really enjoying his performances lately, though I think telling Vicky GUERRERO that he’s going to take her to hell is in a bit of bad taste.

Evan Bourne over Bam Neely by shooting star press
It’s the battle of the generic rock music entrances. The crowd is pretty hot for Bourne, and they should be after last week’s victory. Bourne dodges and strikes, but Bam grabs Bourne and drives him into the corner. Bourne ducks a punch and throws punches and kicks of his own Bam pushes Evan out, but meets his knee on the attack. Bourne hits a head scissors and drives Bam into the corner and then hits a spin kick to knock the big man down. Bourne goes up top and is thrown to the floor by Bam. Bam goes to the floor and throws Bourne into the ring and throws a few kicks to the gut. Bam hits a short clothesline and turns Bourne inside out for a two. TWO!

Bourne fights out of a submission move with a sunset flip. Bourne takes Bam out with a drop kick to the knee and hits a standing moonsault for a two. TWO! Bam almost turns a hurricanrana into a powerbomb but turns it into a massive DDT. A shooting star press later, we have a winner.

Backstage, Teddy Long with with his assistant and Estrada has an ECW contract and it’s signed. Tonight, they are going to celebrate with some bubbly and an official match… with FINLAY.

Ricky Ortiz is backstage with Teddy Long. Ortiz wants to show Long his rally towel. He wants Long to pay to make 50,000 towels. Long doesn’t seem so hot on that idea. Next week, it’s Ortiz vs. a new superstar.

Matt Hardy and Mark Henry over John Morrison and the Miz by Side Effect
Henry and Hardy argue to start off and Henry wins as he starts the match with Morrison. Morrison attempts an arm bar, but gets his clock cleaned instead. Morrison is thrown from pillar to post and then Henry pulls in the Miz. Hardy clears Miz out of the ring and the Summerslam opponents are left staring at each other in the ring.

We’re back and Hardy tags Mark Henry into the match to fight Morrison. Henry beats down Morrison with a few forearms and tags in Hardy. Hardy hits a bodyslam but misses an elbow. Miz is tagged in, but Hardy hits a clothesline in the corner and a bulldog for a two. TWO!

Miz goes outside the ring and Hardy gives chase, throwing Miz into the barrier. Miz counters by pushing Hardy into the steel steps. Miz tosses Hardy into the ring and stretches out Hardy’s lower back. Hardy fights out, but Miz pushes him into the corner. Hardy fights out of the corner, but Miz hits his jumping clothesline. Morrison is tagged in and gives Hardy a russian leg sweep for a two. TWO!

Morrison attacks Hardy in the corner. Morrison continues the punishment on Hardy, and Hardy comes back in the corner, hitting the Side Effect off the second rope. Henry calls for the tag, but Hardy gets the pin. In comes Henry, but instead of attacking Hardy he goes after the Douches, tossing them out of the ring. Henry celebrates the victory while Hardy recovers in the corner. Henry grabs Hardy’s hand in victory, but hits the World’s Strongest Slam for fun.
