Nastula was hit in the groin twice in the first round but decided to continue. The fight was stopped due to Nastula not responding to the referees orders in the second round, apparently due to being in pain from the hits.

Interesting to see former IFL Lightweight grandprix winner go down in the first round to a relative unknown and therefore leaving us with an all Japanese final 4. The Satory Kitaoka vs Eiji Mistuoka 2nd round grandprix match seems to be the more appealing of the fights as they both have an accomplished resume. Kitaoka is a PANCRASE fighter with notable victories over currect WEC lightweight champion Carlos Condit, Kurt Pelligrino, and current DEEP welterweight champion Hidehiko Hasegawa. Mistuoka on the other hand holds a victory over UFC fighter Gleison Tibau and is coming off of a huge upset over currect DREAM lightweight champion and grandprix winner Joachim Hansen.
