WWE DotCom Delivery – Week of 09/06/08

Reviews, Shows, Webshows

You know, every week it seems like the entire DotCom is about Santino and Miz & Morrison. No show even comes close to the Casa and the Dirt Sheet. Will this week be any different? Let’s find out.

ECW’s OMG Moment of the Week takes us to the first days of Lucha Libre on ECW with shots from various matches. In the past couple of weeks this show has gotten lazy. They’re just cutting clips from ECW DVD’s or 24/7 and present them online. If this continues I might stop covering this show because it doesn’t even an original DotCom show any more.

At least Cryme Tyme’s Word up is original. This week’s show introduces us to the term “DIME PIECE” which is a hot woman, aka hottie, cake, diamond or a perfect ten. Jessica Alba and Jennifer Lopez are Dime Pieces, Rosie Odonell and Star Jones are not. I hope it’s not too sophisticated for you.

Best WWEek, Worst WWEek gives Matt Striker a break from ECW. This week Striker picks right up where he started last week – digs at Missy Hyatt. That’s always cool. Matt plants false hopes that he doesn’t need the DotCom audience anymore and might quit, since he’s now so very famous thanks to his ECW job. Alas, it’s only a tease that leads to Matt declaring himself as having the best wweek. But it’s another swerve! Matt is quitting the DotCom and the web audience have the worst wweek because it’s the last ever edition of Best WWEek, Worst WWEek! I’m sorry Matt, but this news just gave me the best wweek. Good luck in your future endeavors!

But here’s a show I wish will go on for a long time. Santino’s Casa. Santino begins this week with some back to school advice for the younger viewers. The biggest advice is to stop worshipping the Fonz and AC Slater (I never did worship him, Zack Morris was DA MAN!) and stay away from handsome athletic guys like Santino who will take away your girls and lunch money. Santino then moves on to discuss the new American Idol judge. He finishes with some advice for the people of Cleveland on the eve of Unforgiven. They should always follow Santino’s advice.

This week’s Dirt Sheet is mostly a recap of the live Dirt Sheet they presented on ECW this week before Miz promises to win on Sunday. They were awesome, they were great, but I’m not recapping a recap. Just remember, next time you climb Mount Everest, take a diet soda with you. Ask Morrison.

Jack Korpela (Hey, I learned how to spell his name) is on Weekly Top 5 duty again. Number 5 belongs to The Brian Kendrick’s victory over Jeff Hardy from SmackDown. The Michaels/Jericho papers signing segment from Raw is only at number 4. ECW is back to it’s regular number 3 spot with the live Dirt Sheet but also occupies the second place with the eight men tag match from the show’s main event. Finally, Khali vs. triple H is at number 1, ending with Jeff hardy’s Twist of Faith on Triple H.

I won’t mourn the ending of Matt Striker’s show. It’s not one of the best DotCom shows. In fact, I’d also cancel the ECW show if it continues with the lazy attitude from the past couple of weeks. But if they touch either Santino’s Casa or The Dirt Sheet, then I’d be mad.
