Clive Owen is back! Well, he never went anywhere, but it seems like it’s been ages since he was hamming it up with Paul Giamatti in Shoot ‘Em Up. Now he stars alongside Naomi Watts in Tom Tykwer’s (Run Lola Run and Perfume) new thriller, The International. In it, Owen plays an Interpol agent who attempts to expose a high-profile financial institution’s role in an international arms dealing ring. It doesn’t arrive until next February, but it makes you wonder if this is Owen’s answer for not getting to play a movie icon who’s synonymous with three numbers.
