WWE DotCom Delivery – Week of 09/28/2008

Reviews, Shows, Top Story, Webshows

This will be a chopped down edition of the Delivery, as OMG Moment of the Week just wouldn’t play for me, on three different browsers. But judging from history it’s not a real loss.

On Word Up, Cryme Tyme teach us the word GLOMPIN’ – embracing a female a little too long or milking that hug. JTG gives a nice demonstration of that act, while Shad does take the opportunity to do the same. Sadly there’s no mention of the feud with Miz & Morrison, and to that I say boo.

The opening segment of this week’s Santino’s Casa may be the best ever, as Santino celebrates the closing of Yankee Stadium and calls New York State the “armpit of America”. And who steps up to defend the honor of that state? None other than STEVE LOMBARDI! Sadly he doesn’t wear either Brooklyn Brawler or Abe “Knuckleball” Schwartz attire, but it’s still Steve f’n Lombardi. Of course Beth Phoenix defends her man, until she what he’s been saying, and sends Santino to a time out. The second half of the Casa id devoted to Santino’s Hollywood Hit List – Perez Hilton and TMZ.com. He is on a one man crusade to destroy them both. I urge you all to join him.

The Dirt Sheet once again mentions the new superstars of ECW, with a nice homage to one of the greatest films of all times, Revenge of the Nerds. Miz & Morrison also show they know how to advance a feud and present a special interview with the parents of Cryme Tyme, or at least the parents that aren’t Flava Flav. They also show their victory from Raw, proving once again why they have the number one show on the DotCom. Watch them now.

And finally, it’s the Weekly Top Five. Rey’s attempt to attack Kane on raw is at number five, followed by Jeff hardy’s assistance to Triple H from Smackdown at number four. If seeing ECW at number three surprises you, I guess you haven’t been reading the Delivery or watching the Dotcom. This week they put Miz vs. Morrison, with Ricky Ortiz’s subsequent attack in that slot. Undertaker’s assault on Vicky Guerrero is at number two and the top spot goes to the main event handicapped match from Raw.

That’s it for this week. To those celebrating either the Jewish New year or the end of Ramadan – Happy holidays. To those who don’t celebrate – just wait for your own holidays.
