01. Matt Hardy’s mic work still isn’t all that good, try as he might. It picked up a little as it went along but he managed to consistently hit those emotional marks that would get me to cheer for him. In fact I totally want Mark Henry to kick his ass.
02. Miz and Morrison have a constantly expanding role on ECW and for the right reasons. These guys are getting more and more interesting to watch on a weekly basis and I can’t wait to see what they do next. Granted, it’s not all great but it feels like as time goes by, it feels like the pieces will all fall into place.
03. Jack Swagger is awesome. This was his worst squash match thus far and I place the blame squarely on the hired talent of the night, Lenny Lane. Swagger moves like a giant cat and I can’t wait until he starts getting put into bouts with people who really know how to put a match together.
04. Tommy Dreamer is the infinite jobber. I wish that Swagger didn’t run away when Tommy showed up and literally looked Dreamer down before knocking him on his ass. That would have been great!
05. Mike Knox has been improving as well as he looked pretty agile and quick out there himself. I really like his new finisher as well. It looks relatively devastating compared to something like the F-U or Ricky Ortiz’s splash finisher.
06. Matt Hardy looked lost out there. I feel bad for him. It looked like a dog trying to finally just catch its tail. I’d say he looked the worst out of anyone out there in the main event.
07. Bourne on the other hand great as usual. His knee/kick based offense works really well and his hope spots almost always get the crowd in a frenzy. It’s a good thing though that they’re holding back from him hitting the SSP at every single event. It keeps it special.
08. Too bad this crowd was ass. Probably the worst crowd in over a month. I hope they all get AIDs.
09. Ricky Ortiz… it’s better not to speak of Ricky Ortiz right now. His selling was pretty decent towards Mark Henry… but his character needs more like Paris Hilton needs a cock in her mouth. It’s compulsory.
10. Mark Henry was used to perfection in the main event. He entered, he crushed people, he tagged out. Henry was like Ivan Drago. He will BREAK you. That “RAWGGGGGHHHH!” as he nailed his best use of the World’s Strongest Slam was awesome!
