WWE DotCom Delivery – Week of 10/04/2008

Reviews, Shows, Top Story, Webshows

With every week that passes, the DotCom Delivery comes down to one question – can anything even begin to come close to the awesomeness of The Dirt Sheet and Santino’s Casa. This week is no different, so let’s dive right in.

ECW OMG Moment of the Week takes us to Taz’s farewell from ECW, en route to gaining a second Z at the E. He takes through his reasons for making the jump and we get clips from his sendoff match at Anarchy Rulez 1999, which was a truly touching moment. Of course he’ll go back there in the future to win the title once again (From a WCW guy!), but that’s a whole different mess.

Cryme Tyme’s word of the week on Word Up is CHEESIN’ – giving a wide smile or showing off your “grill”. Of course, Mike Adamle is good at cheesin’ with his wonderful smile, but the best is Snitsky. Cryme Tyme again lose points, this time for claiming they’re not Brooklyn Brawlers. They wish they were like the Brawler!

But it’s been a long time since Santino lost any points. This one Santino’s Casa he throws down the gauntlet to Scarlet Johansen – he bets her recent marriage will end before he loses the IC title. And considering he shoots for Honky time, that’s a safe bet. And did you know Santino uses his entrance theme as his ringtone? That’s classy. But wait! The Casa is interrupted by an intruder! Hurricane is making his presence known on the DotCom as well! How dare he interrupt Santino’s crusade against internet gossip sites? Still, it’s good to see Helms around.

I guess Hurricane doesn’t know who he’s dealing with, since he also interrupts the Dirt Sheet. When Miz & Morrison find out about that they’re going to be pissed. Now, I know I say this every week, but you must see this edition because Morrison & The Miz are now targeting none others than Triple H and Stephanie McMahon and introduce the latest WWE Films production – “SneezerMan”. I just hope this won’t end with Triple H beating both of them in a handicapped match.

And finally we get the Weekly Top Five and again Jack Korpela is standing in for Josh Mathews. Batista spearing JBL is at number five, followed by Taker confronting Big Show at number four. If it’s number three you know it’s ECW and the six-man tag match. Number two is the DX reunion from Raw and we end with triple-threat Champion vs. champion vs. champion match from SmackDown. Bring Josh Back!
