Get ‘em or Don’t Sweat ‘em Week 6

LestersLegends.com presents Get ‘em or Don’t Sweat ‘em Week 6.

There were some unusual heroes on Sunday.  There always are.  Let’s take a look at them and see if they are worthy of your fantasy rosters.

QB
Chad Pennington –  I thought he’d have a nice game against the Texans.  He delivered with 284 yards and a pair of TDs.  If you rode him as a bye week replacement, good for you.  Now ditch him.  If you’re considering picking him up…stop.  He faces Baltimore and Buffalo the next two weeks so he’s not even an attractive bye week spot starter.  Look elsewhere.
Ruling:  Don’t Sweat ‘em

RBs

Dominic Rhodes – Hopefully you already did what’s needed to be done.  Snatch Rhodes from the waiver wire.  If you have Addai or not, he’s worth stashing on your roster.  If he’s out for any length of time, Rhodes becomes a nice option to start.  If you haven’t already got him or made a claim for him, quit goofing around and get him.
Ruling:  Get ‘em.

Patrick Cobbs – Cobbs turned in a nice 138 yard receiving day for the Dolphins.  He scored on plays of 53 and 80 yards.  Prior to this week he had 3 carries for 5 yards and 2 catches for 14.  Do not expect a repeat performance, and do not chase this box score.  Let somebody else do that.
Ruling:  Don’t Sweat ’em.

WRs
Devin Hester – He made a little noise in Week 3 with a TD grab.  Last week he caught five balls for 66 yards and a score.  He didn’t reach paydirt this week, but that didn’t stop him from hauling in six passes for 87 yards.  He is becoming a bigger piece of the Offense each week it seems.  I like that kind of trend.  Plus, he faces the Vikings next weekend.  If Chris Kluwe can’t get his punts out of bounds, Hester could take one to the house.
Ruling:  Get ‘em.

Harry Douglas – Same game as Hester, but opposite team.  Harry snared five passes for 96 yards.  That’s enough to grab my attention, but his six catches for 52 yards in the first five weeks stick in my mind.  If he can string together a couple good games, I’ll consider him, but for now leave him on the wire.
Ruling: Don’t Sweat ‘em.

TE
Mark Campbell  – Well, he scored a TD for the Saints.  Too bad for him Jeremy Shockey will be coming back soon.  He also has Billy Miller to contend with so this is most likely a flash in the pan performance.
Ruling:  Don’t Sweat ‘em.

There you have it.  I hope I provided you some good info while you make your fantasy team waiver wire adjustments.
