WWE DotCom Delivery – Week of 10/11/2008

Reviews, Shows, Top Story, Webshows

Have you noticed that not one of the wrestlers who have a show on the DotCom had a match on No Mercy? Sure, some of them made an appearance, but what about actually wrestling on the show? At least we know that Santino will have a match on Cyber Sunday in two weeks. On to this week’s delivery.

ECW OMG Moment of the Week takes us back to WWE King of the Ring 1995 and Mind Games 1996 which both took place in ECW’s backyard – Philadelphia PA. The first PPV saw Mable win the crown while thousands of peole in the crowd were chanting for ECW and the second saw the first co-operation between WWE and ECW Sandman, Tommy Dreamer and Taz made their presence known following a deal between Vince McMahon and Paul Heyman. Good stuff.

Moving on to Word Up. This week’s word PANCAKED, meaning to end a relationship in a sudden fashion or the flat out dumping of some fool. And finally they bring their feud with Miz & Morrison back to life and imitate them in order to demonstrate the word. At least they get points for trying.

And it’s time for Santino’s Casa. We open with a Santino warning to Howard Stern on his upcoming nuptials. Santino then takes credit for OJ Simpson’s recent conviction before being interrupted by Hurricane Helms. Also in the taking credit field – Santino claims that the recent Chicago Cubs slump is the result of the curse he put on them. YOU DON’T MESS WITH SANTINO!

Miz & Morrison are up next with The Dirt Sheet. This week they talk to some WWE backstage employees and talent, including Todd Grisham, who dish out the real dirt about Cryme Tyme. For JTG’s sake they spell out the word of the week, STUPID. And Shad, apparently, couldn’t distinguish between guys and gals in clubs. Ooooooohhhh. You know, when Todd Grisham makes fun of you, that’s when you know you’re in a bad situation.

Josh Mathews is back for the Weekly top Five. Hi Josh. Number five gives us HBK’s match with Lance Cade from Raw, followed by a shocker, as the ECW match between Mark Henry and Jamie Noble is at number four. ECW’s main event eight man tag match is at number three, giving ECW a rare double shot at the WTF. Triple H vs. Big Show, with all of its aftermath, is at number two. Finally, Batista vs. JBL from Raw, with the deck stacked against Batista, is at number one.

That’s this week’s Delivery. Too bad the Cyber Sunday voting this year is by text messages only and not on the DotCom. Kinda misses the whole “cyber” meaning, doesn’t it?
