WWE released Lance Cade today. They issued the following statement:
World Wrestling Entertainment has come to terms on the release of Raw Superstar Lance Cade as of October 14, 2008. WWE wishes Lance the best in all future endeavors.
They did not explain why they fired him a couple of weeks after having him pin Shawn Michaels in the main event of Raw.
