One Tree Hill – Episode 6-6 Review

Old Brooke is back! Or so it seems. Don’t get your hopes up too much, but from the looks of it, she is coming out of the hole she’s been hiding in lately.

In the latest episode, Brooke comes clean with Peyton about her attack. All those awful words written on her mirror were changed to words of inspiration by Peyton. It was nice to see these two interact again after too many Lucas-centric seasons. Is the triangle really over for good?

Haley finds Sam, the girl who stole from Brooke’s store, sleeping in a car at school and offers to help her. She reveals she is a foster child who receives little attention from her parents. Wanting to be a mom and understanding what it’s like to be a alone, Brooke takes her in.

Lucas is going on his book tour and conveniently stops in Omaha first (where Mouth happens to live).  Ugh, yes we had to see that awful haircut again. Anyway, Lindsey doesn’t come along for the book tour as planned. Instead a guy who never read Lucas’ book accompanies him and eventually breaks the news that they are cutting the tour short. Looks like he may be a one-hit wonder…

Nathan checks out slamball, something that will at least get him on the court again. Although it makes no sense because of Nathan’s back injury, Haley gives him her support. Nathan runs into Owen and it looks like he will be back. Jamie exclaims he’s on team Brooke…another thing a 5-year old would never say.

Anyway, Dan is back in Jamie’s life after saving he and Haley from crazy Carrie. But, Nathan’s not giving in. In a really sad and touching moment, he tells Dan that he still has two sons that hate him. Ouch.

Next week we see Jamie have some problems with a school bully and from the looks of it, Haley’s getting into it too. Meanwhile, Owen is back and Brooke’s on the defense. Finally, some much-needed comedy! Stay tuned!
