For those that don’t already know and are worried about it, Criterion has announced that these editions will have the same Special Features content as the standard DVD editions, and that they’ll be the SAME PRICE as those standard def discs.

For those that have already bought some of these films on DVD, Criterion is also offering an exchange program where you can send them your old DVD and for $20 plus shipping and handling, they’ll replace it with a corresponding Blu-ray version. Personally, I can’t wait until some of the monsters of The Criterion Collection catalogue are up for grabs!
