Mirror Mirror on the wall… who’s the fairest of them all…
Well… it’s not Bree, Susan, Gabby or Lynette!!
The use of mirrors and flashbacks in this episode was fantastic! We finally got to see how the wives came to be where they are today!
So it turns out that even though Susan called the divorce lawyers, she wanted to patch things up with Mike, but he thought it would be best not too. So that’s what lead her to returning home and sleeping with Jackson. But in the present, Jackson is falling in love with Susan, but she’s still not that type of gal as romance isn’t for her!
Bree returned to her old alcoholic days, and used drink to numb the pain of both Orson and Benjamin being taken from her. One morning, Katherine got her out of bed, moved in and persuaded Bree that she needs to get on with her life. Perhaps this is the real reason behind Katherine’s bitterness towards Bree’s success, because without Katherine’s help to recover from being an alcoholic, Bree would be nowhere!
So Tom wants to travel round America in a RV… Lynette of course, doesn’t want to. He suffered an electric shock at work which caused him to want to fill his life with more excitement, hence the pizzeria, the sports car, the band and now the RV. Tom thinks Lynette doesn’t understand, but she does, she had cancer.
We get to see what happened when Gabby was told she was pregnant. She couldn’t believe it and slapped her doctor. Carlos was happy for this miracle, but gabby was less than pleased when she receieved another ‘miracle’! She made Carlos get a vasectomy, but he didn’t and lied about it. Tonight she was worried she was pregnant again because her ‘special friend who visits once a month’ was late! Carlos tells her the truth, and she forgives him when her ‘friend’ appears at Karen’s birthday party.
Karen returned home to find that all her things had been moved around (by Dave) She knew he was up to something, so she grabbed a bat, stormed over to her surprise party and went crazy. Everyone though she was crazy, except Dave, who gave her the creepiest smile I’ve ever seen. She got taken away by an ambulance to be tested psychologically!
But at least we got to find out more about Dave and his ‘real agenda’

I guess only time will tell…
