WWE DotCom Delivery – Week of 11/01/2008

Reviews, Shows, Webshows

Before we start, I want to thank Paul for covering for me twice last week while I was vacationing, making him the only person capable of churning out 73 columns in one week. Thanks Paul! Anyway, it seems that while I was away, the DotCom switched from the old Media Player based video to new flash based video, and the new player looks a lot better than the old one. They also switched the original web shows to widescreen format. Now that’s cool.

ECW OMG Moment of the week takes us back to Mike Awesome’s move to WCW, while he was still champion, which led to his match with WWE’s Tazz for the ECW title. The Triple H buried both Tazz and Tommy Dreamer on SmackDown and the rest is history.

After Cyber Sunday, I think it’s time to drop the Cryme tyme/Miz & Morrison feud. So on Word Up this week’s word is SWAGGA’ – an overwhelming confidence in attitude, walk or attire and self assurance to attract the opposite sex. The best example that they give? Vince McMahon swaggering to the ring. And just so you know, The Bushwhackers had no swagga’.

Santino’s Casa is up next. Santino’s first victims this week are William Shatner and George Takei. He then moves on to discuss Cyber and blame the Glamazon for his defeat. We also learn that much like Jamie Lee Curtis in A Fish Called Wanda, the Galamazon gets hot when Santino speaks Italian, regardless of what he actually says. Good for him.

We’re close to the epic match between Miz & Morrison and DX this coming RAW, and what better place to address it than The Dirt Sheet. Too bad that much of it is a replay of the live Dirt Sheet from this week’s ECW. Still, Miz’s new hat is really cool, and I wish it was available on shopzone.

And finally, it’s Josh Mathews with Weekly Top five. Number 5 is the tag titles match from RAW, followed by the six-man inter-brand tag match from SmackDown. If it’s number 3 it’s ECW and this week it’s the live Dirt Sheet. RAW’s main event is at number 2 and we end with the casket match from SmackDown in the number 1 spot.
