Hi Jim,
Hope everything is well. Got a question for you. With the big spectacle of Spider-man’s marriage being removed from the Marvel Universe, I was wondering what your thoughts are in regards to another union: Storm and Black Panther. Ororo is arguably Marvel’s strongest female character (she beat Wonder Woman in a fight via voting!) and shifting her over to Black Panther seems like a move to boost his B-level profile while hurting her character (Before you freak, I agree that BP’s a good character but NOT a top level one on par with Iron Man, Hulk, Spidey, etc). To me, Storm is a key X-Man along with Cyclops, Wolverine and Beast and to have her away from the X-Books during a pivotal time in the X-Universe and putting her in Africa is a misuse of her. Do you think Storm’s marriage is a good thing or do you wish Mephisto made a stop over to Wakanda on his way back from the Parkers?

I’m one of the few that doesn’t have the big issues with T’Chilla married to Storm. I know it really came out of no where. Which is really the only big issue. If say we saw them dating and the like for a long time it would’ve made a ton more sense and fans would not be upset. That I think is why the fans are upset. The writers of Black Panther have gone to far in many ways to make him a bigger character. It’s not the Storm thing that should upset fans as much as say Black Panther now being able to beat anyone in combat. Look at the list of who he’s fought and defeated in the title:
Captain America
Silver Surfer
Sabretooth
Doctor Doom
Don’t forget Skrulls. What’s next? Thanos? Galactus all by himself? Panther is just too much now with defeating everyone. So fix that first and then we can fix the Storm thing.

Scarlet Witch: already known mutant on 198. Everyone can’t seem to find her but Clint.

New Ways To Die Synopsis
Amazing Spider-Man #572: Pete helps repair the FEAST building. Ben, Sally and Betty are there as Oscorp comes up. Osborn gives the Thunderbolts a way to track Spider-Man. Radioactive Man helps Venom.Osborn holds Freak and uses him to come up with a way to help Venom. Osborn then goes to the Goblin room. Pete goes to see Harry and his girl when Norman calls and Bullseye attacks. Spidey fights Bullseye. Harry and Lilly search for Pete as he’s missing. Anti-Venom shows up and helpes Spidey. Spidey takes his tracker off making the Thunderbolts armed men attack Bullseye. Goblin joins the Thunderbolts as he helps Venom and gives him a new Scorpion costume.
Secret Invasion Synopsis
Guardians of the Galaxy #5: The delegates interogate Starlord and Phyla. Draz attacks 3 of the Luminals taking them out. Cosmo confines the Guardians causing arguements as Phyla goes looking for Drax. Mantis contacts Warlock. Phlya finds Drax. Gamora and Starlord argue. Starkhawk arrives warning them of time being in flux as Starlord attacks. Warlock finds Cosmo with the Skrulls. Drax plans to blow up the place
War Machine #33: Savage Land: Tony is hit by the virus. War Machine leaves Stamford after being contacted by Tony. Skrulls are sent after him. War machine is attacked by a Super Skrull. Jim gets to his location finding Suzi Endo. We learn he is now part cyborg. Tony left Jim a mission as him and Suzi square off till the Skrulls arrive. War Machine uses the ship as a robot to battle the Skrulls
Mighty Avengers #18: Nick believes Hill is a Skrull and tells the team to get her. HYDRA captures Yo Yo and try to get information from her. We learn it is Nick and his team testing her. The team go on a mission and capture Hill as SHIELD fails to stop them. Nick finds out Hill took Nick’s advice. The Skrulls attack not long after.
Secret Invasion Thor #2: Skrulls attack Asgard. Don helps the pregnant woman. Don runs into firemen as they head off. The Firemen show up at Asgard as the Asgardians battle the Skrulls. A Skrulls shows up with swords made from Stormbreaker. Doc delivers the kid as Bill fights. Bill is about to be defeated as Don returns.
Avengers Initiative #17: Skrulls arrive at Camp Hammond. Bengal gets the innocents to safety. Veak and Trauma watch over the Baron as the Shadow Initiative is activated. We see Mutant Zero has red hair. Ant-Man hides as the queen arrives. The Shadow Initiative grab Ant-Man. Nevada the Kill Krew kill another Skrull. The Heavy Hitters meet up with the Krew. Hardball and Komodo are reunited. Jocasta of the Maverickes visit’s the Chandlers Trauma uses his powers to make sure the Shadow Initiative if all who they say. Nick and Crew see the message of the Skrulls. Crusader and Nick talk. The Shadow Initiative take on the Skrulls. Spider-Woman makes them attack Trauma. Jocasta repairs communications. Utah: the Krew take out the Skrull on the Called and meet up with Devil- Slayer and Jocasta
Black Panther #41: Wakanda: lies with many Skrull dead. The Skrulls hold BP and Storm prisoner. Panther takes a beating. The torturers find something wrong contacting their leader. We find the 2 Skrulls with him are the real Panther and Storm who take him out. The Skrulls are defeated.
Deadpool #2: Deadpool recalls his Weapon X past. Deadpool talks to the Skrulls . They soon use Deadpool to create Deadpool Super Skrulls. Deadpool convinces them to allow him to work with them. He drives the Super Skrulls insane causing trouble. Deadpool contacts Nick Fury after.
New Avengers #45: The Skrull Queen wakes up in a Hellicarrier in House of M. She runs off. Pym and Beast talk until Pym recalls the truth as well. Pym runs off to run into his queen. They discuss how this happened. The heroes go after Wanda. Spider-Woman watched as Hawkeye was ready to kill Wanda. Wanda’a one son sees Spider-Woman. Wanda says No More Mutants. Returning to reality the Skrulls meet. They find out about Annihilation
Nova #17: Klrt attacks Nova. Klrt joins the Skrulls as Nova finds out it was all part of Klrt’s plans. Nova goes home to see his parents. Nova speeds off to see his brother at Project Pegasus. Finding the place a mess after a Skrull attack. Darkhawk attacks him until Nova reveals he’s the real deal. Nova is shown around. Nova and Darkhawk stop another Skrull attack. Nova helps them regain power Quasar returns
Secret Invasion Amazing Spider-Man #2: Spidey fights in the Savage Land. Jackpot fights the Skrulls before helping get everyone out of the DB. Harry and Lilly are attacked forcing them to run. Jackpot gets Robbie to help her as the fight takes the street. Harry ‘s car is attacked. Something stops the Skrull. Jackpot is attacked by Menace. The Skrulls continue to attack Spidey’s friends.
She-Hulk #33: Krlt attacks Jen by throwing her into a plane which saves her. She attacks him again. Jaz wakes up in a lake. Years Ago: Jaz steals an artifact from the Kree and swallowed it. Jaz turns into a fish to run. The Skrull with her turns into a shark. She-Hulk hit’s the ground. Jaz fights her way back as a lion. The Skrull turns into an elephant. Klrt points his weapon at Jaz. The Skrull orders him to fire. Klrt shoots Jen who talks to him. Klrt saves his daughter and leaves
Thunderbolts #124: Norman shoots past the Spider-Men, Penanca then defeats his demons. Venom stops himself as he fights off the Skrulls. Moonstone is ready to turn on the team before the Swordsman’s sister attacks her. Bullseye the n attacks her. The team meet up. Radioactive Man exploded killing Skrulls. Moonstone saves Radioactive Man joining the others. Swordsman is told his sister was a Skrull. He takes out one of the Skrulls. The team defeat the Thunderbolt Skrull after
Manifest Destiny Synopsis
Uncanny X-Men #502:The X-Men fight off the Hellfire Cult as we learn they have psi-blocking devices. Beast checks on Pixie surprising her with Dazzler. Cyclops interogates a man about the Cult. He talks to Emma after. Pixie is about to leave till running into Wolverine working on his car. He gives her a ride home. Emma visits Kurt’s church. The Red Queen interogates Empath on Emma Frost. The X-Men attack the Cult and find Empath. Pivis leaves her home.
Young X-Men #6: The team take out Pierce. The X-Men arrive as Rockslide punches Cyclops. Ink is interogated by the former New Mutants team. Cyclops offers Moonstar and Sunspot a place to help work with the team. Beast examines Greymalkin finding he is related to Xavier and over 200 years old. Kurt offers his church to the team. Cyclops meets with Rockslide. Dust visits Pierce. Blindfold and Ink talk. The team meet up as Moonstar contacts Anole.
X-Men Legacy #216: Emma takes control of Xavier’s mind under Cyclops orders. He is shown his legacy with the X-Men. We see how Beast joined the team. Emma confronts him. Rogue meets with Xavier asking for help. He is then shown Cyclops after returning from Krakoa. How he became Onslaught, murdered Nova, erased minds. Emma and Charles talk until this finishes. Emma helps Xavier see how Jean helped him speak with Moira one last time. Cyclops and Xavier say goodbye
