WWE® Reports 2008 Third Quarter Results
STAMFORD, Conn., November 6, 2008 – World Wrestling Entertainment, Inc. (NYSE: WWE) today announced financial results for its third quarter ended September 30, 2008. Revenues totaled $108.8 million as compared to $108.1 million in the prior year quarter, while operating income was $7.9 million as compared to $13.4 million in the prior year quarter. Net income was $5.3 million, or $0.07 per share, as compared to $8.5 million, or $0.12 per share, in the prior year quarter. To read the full press release, click here.
