Jermain Taylor vs. Jeff Lacy Results

News, Results

Jermain Taylor battered Jeff Lacy early and survived an unofficial knockdown to win a 12-round unanimous decision on Saturday night. It seemed that Taylor had the fight wrapped up early but he didn’t finish the job in the fourth round. Lacy came back in the 5th round and caught Taylor with a punch that led to a knockdown, only the referee somehow didn’t see it that way and didn’t call it an official knockdown. Taylor won all three scorecards: 119-109 twice and 118-110.
