90210 – Episode 1-11 Review

Hello my dear readers! Tonight’s episode was very interesting and I don’t really have any pre-review ramblings (I think I sucked the life out of it with the TV show remake stuff). Anyway on to tonight’s episode…

When we last left off last week Naomi and Annie were at each other like Obama and McCain during the election (too soon? too inappropriate?). But they stop when their half brother Sean shows up at the Wilson’s doorstep. It turns out he’s in the military (I may have accidentally said Marines last week). The second Tracy finds out she goes nuts so for the first little bit of the episode Sean is staying with the Clarks. Suddenly Tabitha is concerned about what to say to people because her son kinda had his son when he was 18. Harry and Tracy go out to dinner with Sean. Debbie doesn’t go at first, because she’s like “He’s his son not mine”. But then Tabitha tells her a story about loving a man with a dog and it’s one of those situations where he has to pick between her and the dog (he chose the dog).

So now Annie and Ethan can date out in the open now and did I mention that Naomi is bringing out the worst in Annie. I know how you feel. Sometimes I wish I could do to her what happend to that b**** in this weeks episode of Total Drama Island. (That show makes the original Beverly Hills 90210 look like Saved By the Bell except Screech was in a horrible accident). So Naomi is starting to hang out with a new crowd that drinks alot of blended stuff and boy do they put her to work. They want a table at Ozzie’s dad’s restaurant. They succeed a little but Naomi has to do something for him later.

If you notice anything weird, a plant in Kelly’s office seems to have a brief running gag. Kelly quoted “Having good girlfriends is what helps you survive”. Gee I can’t wait to see where this goes

Harry starts to bond with his biological son which makes Dixon feel uneasy especially since there’s a big lacrosse game coming up.

Now earlier I was mentioning about a plant becoming a running gag. It’s now a gift for Brenda and she feels she doesn’t have anything in common with Kelly anymore. I actually understand how she feels. I used to have a really good male friend on Facebook and I used to talk to him about everything. I even made him my co-admin on the main “Total Drama Island group because he was into TDI too. (Actually he was into alot of Canadian cartoons and we both had crushes on celebrities starting with the letter ‘A’. He was into Avril Lavigne and I was into Apolo Anton Ohno. But then our friendship ended because he claimed that our interests were on different sides of this galaxy.)

But back to 90210. At the lacrosse game, Naomi is owing Ozzie a favour. He just wants a kiss which she gives him, but then he wants her to kiss Walter the Wildcat (the mascot). I can’t help but notice that the Wildcat happens to be the same animal mascot as the one in the High School Pukical… I mean Musical franchise. Oh yeah, and guess what Annie is in the wildcat suit. And Dixon’s anger is really out in the open, which gets him thrown out of the game. So he and Harry talk about what is bothering him. Oh yeah and the Wildcats win. And it turns out Sean lost his adoptive father recently.

Brenda is in an accident and is sent to the hospital (the play she was in was uh I’d rather not say but I’ll give you a hint it was written by Shakespere and it starts with M). And the reason why she was avoiding Kelly was because she slept with Ryan (I think their friendship is over). What bothers me is who did Sean call at the end of the episode……too bad we won’t find out until January 6th (if he’s still there), which is when the next new episode will air. That means I have 6 weeks off so until then let me be the first to say “Have A Great Thanksgiving, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year”!
