Jeff Hardy was found unconscious in a stairwell at his hotel in Boston at 03:00 this morning according to WWE.com. Due to privacy issues, WWE is not releasing the name of the hospital.
WWE Senior Vice President of Talent Relations, John Laurinaitis has been in contact with Jeff, who has been released from the hospital. Laurinaitis is investigating the incident. It is questionable as to whether or not Jeff Hardy will perform tonight.
This could really change the course of the SmackDown main event at Survivor Series as Hardy is set to take part in a triple threat match with Triple H and Vladimir Kozlov for the WWE Title. It appears that this is part of an angle for tonight’s show as nobody in the company is aware of any legitimate problems with Jeff. There is also a lot of speculation that this may be part of a storyline involving Edge returning to action and trying to involve himself in the WWE title scene. Edge and his beard flew from Tampa to Boston yesterday for the Survivor Series.
