WWE is taping two weeks worth of Smackdown in one evening again this week in Albany, NY. There is talk of making these double-tapings a permanent deal as a cost-cutting measure.

The son of Mark Canterbury (Henry Godwinn), Shane Canterbury, has an open invitation for a WWE developmental deal. He said he would consider it if his football career doesn’t work out but his goal for now is to play in the NFL. Canterbury tried to get a job in law enforcement after his younger brother was accidentally shot by a friend and died in 2003. That didn’t pan out so he went back to school and this season is an offensive guard at Carson-Newman College.

WWE were originally going to have Charlie Haas dress up as Honky Tonk Man at Cyber Sunday if Honky won the vote. Honky was not expected to be able to compete but three days before the show he assured them that he would be able to pull off the Shake, Rattle & Roll.

Dos Caras Jr said in an interview in Mexico that he had turned down three WWE contract offers. He claimed he would only sign if he was guaranteed a push.
