The Hills – Episode 4-16 Review

So here was the long-awaited episode regarding the apparent Justin/Lauren hookup. We heard about it and we read about it, and finally we get to see how it all went down…or didn’t go down.

Audrina completely overreacted. Don’t get me wrong, she had a right to be upset and broken about the whole thing, but to believe a rumor over what your boyfriend and best friend are telling you? Come on! She didn’t even hear them out at first, which is what was so messed up. She just accused. Even Justin called her out on that one.

After she accused Lauren, they met up and Audrina continued to act ridiculously and not believe Lauren. Lauren had a right to be pissed. Then, Audrina leaves Justin a nice phone call about how she just wants to hear it from him. So how come Justin gets the nice approach? Lauren deserved the same courtesy in my opinion.

Anyway, Justin and Audrina finally meet up and he is pissed! Rightfully so. He is so blown away with the absurdity that he doesn’t even want to hear her talk. For once, I agreed with Justin Bobby. And that never happens. He walks out on her. Sorry Audrina, but haven’t you learned to be skeptical of rumors? I mean, come on!

I could see if Justin and Lauren were all over each other all the time, but Lauren despises Justin. “He disgusts me,” she says. We’ve all seen it too. The lack of hygiene and manners always bothered Lauren. Nonetheless, Audrina and Lauren meet up again to talk and Audrina throws some harsh words about them flirting in the past and Lauren treating her like she did Heidi. Ouch! Audrina needs to retract the claws and apologize. We will see how that all ends next week.

As for Spencer and Heidi, they got married this past weekend. And I still have no idea why. Sure, it’s television, but these past few weeks Spencer has been especially mean to her. Holly drops by to see Heidi after not speaking to her for a while. Spencer doesn’t relay the message. So Holly goes to see Heidi at her office (I mean, cubicle). Heidi isn’t very nice, but listens to her sister. Then she goes home to Spencer being a jerk again. What else is new?

I think we can all smell the divorce already. Granted Heidi’s stuck it out this long with him, I just can’t see her family or friends ever accepting him. I just hope for her sake that he is way different when the cameras aren’t rolling…although sadly, I don’t think that’s entirely the case.

Next week we see Audrina contemplate apologizing and Spencer’s grandmother comes to town!
