Lashley, Jericho & Cena News

Bobby Lashley says he has spoken to UFC’s Dana White and would love to fight Brock Lesnar. On an interview with TAGG Radio about his MMA debut on December 13 he said “If I had to go against Brock right now, I would definitely be up for it. As far as wrestling, a lot of it would be a battle of takedowns. I think I would do real well.” He also said that Vince McMahon knew from the start of Lashley’s WWE career that he would one day pursue the MMA option and that he has not burned his bridges with the company. “[Leaving] was on good terms. It was a decision that we made. I spoke with Vince early on in my career about fighting.” Lashley even puts over Vince as one of the toughest people he has ever been in the ring with.

Chris Jericho noted in an interview with the Winnipeg Sun that he is still working on his second autobiography, which will cover his WWE career. It will again be published outside the WWE’s reach, so there will be less pressure on him to omit Chris Benoit from the narrative. “It’s been taking longer than I expected, but I want to get it right … I think people will really enjoy it.”

Dave Meltzer has said that John Cena is likely to make a cameo appearance in The Marine 2, reprising his role from the original movie. The lead character this time around will be a new marine, played by Ted Dibiase Jr.
