WWE DotCom Delivery – Week of 11/29/2008

Reviews, Shows, Top Story, Webshows

Last weekend’s Jeff Hardy storyline was probably the best way WWE has ever used the DotCom in order to create and advance a storyline. I can’t say it wasn’t a bit controversial and in bad taste, but is there anything in WWE that doesn’t have some bad taste to it? But now Survivor Series is over and it’s back to business as usual at the Dotcom.

Word Up features the YAWNVERSATION – a discussion that induces yawn or some tires, pointless jibber-jabber. Seems like Shad and JTG had some bad Thanksgivings when they grew up as the best example they can come up with is talking to grandma during the holiday meal. But they also show a clip that can induce some good conversation – Cody Rhodes slapping Randy Orton. At least he didn’t spit in his face.

Santino Marella presents a special Thanksgiving edition of Santino’s Casa. After telling the truth about the holiday, he shares what he’s thankful for. I bet you already guessed that Santino is thankful for…Santino Marella. But he is also not thankful for some things – William Regal, being excluded from the History of the Intercontinental Championship DVD and for some of the ways that Beth Phoenix (not mentioned by name) treats him. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, OUCH!

And this is actually where the Delivery ends this week. While the DotCom provide links to The Dirt Sheet and WTF , there aren’t any videos on those pages. I guess that The Miz and John Morrison deserve a week off from their webshow, since they’re the hardest working WWE superstars and appear on all three shows every week, but there’s no excuse for Josh Mathews. I just hope they’ll be back in full form next week.
