WWE DotCom Delivery – Week of 12/06/08

Archive, Reviews, Shows, Webshows

There’s a new category on the Slammy Awards, making their comeback this week, and that’s for the best DotCom show. I know these awards are meaningless. Still, if there’s any justice in the world, The Dirt Sheet will win by a landslide. Miz & Morrison deserve to win this, with Santino’s Casa coming in the second place (By a large margin). But before the Awards, its time for this week Delivery.

On Word Up, Shad and JTG introduce us to the word STALE – unoriginal, not fresh or straight up dull. Akon is fresh, Jonas Bros. are stale. JTG pretends to think that Manu is fresh, but of course he really believes that Manu is stale. And again they replay Rhodes slapping Randy Orton.

Santino’s Casa is never stale. Santino is making his case for why he should win the Slammy Award for best DotCom show with some very interesting arguments. He even gets an endorsement from Triple H, as part of the “Best of” the casa.

The hardest working men on WWE, Miz & Morrison, are back with The Dirt Sheet. They take some necessary digs at Erick Schonfeld from techcrunch.com, who bashed the WWE Universe social network, before moving on to the important stuff – The Slammys, and project winning three awards. I’d vote for them. They also introduce the categories for their own award show, The Dirties. I wonder who’ll win Best Beard.

Josh Mathews brings the Weekly Top Five. This week’s items are the JBL’s offer to HBK from RAW, the hag team gauntlet from SmackDown, the latest MVP vs. Matt Hardy match from ECW, the SmackDown cage match and finally the beat down that John Cena suffered at the end of RAW.
