The Hills – Episode 4-18 Review

What a boring episode of The Hills. Especially with all the drama we’ve been seeing recently, this episode just seemed a bit lackluster.

Whitney, usually a secondary character, was the focus of this week’s episode. She got an interview to work with Diane Von Furstenberg in New York. Nothing seems to be holding her in LA and she goes on the interview. Being the polite and eloquent speaker, she charmed the interviewer and basically smiled her way through the whole thing. It’s hard not to like Whitney and from the looks of her upcoming show, she gets the job. Being in New York of course also means she gets to see her boy Jay. The grungy singer seems to be sweet even if he does look like the exact opposite of what Whitney would go for. It should be interesting to see how this all plays out. I just hope she doesn’t get her heart broken! She’s too nice for that!

Lauren and Audrina are back to themselves this week and gush over Justin (as usual) and her new place. Lauren also goes back to Laguna with Lo to pack up her parent’s house as they prepare to move out. It was actually a little sad to see as I’ve been watching since back when she was on Laguna Beach hanging out with Stephen, hating on Kristen and trying to get with Jason. Oh, the memories.

Stephanie and Spencer meet up to talk about Cameron, her ex. Spencer is unsurprisingly unsupportive of their relationship and is confused as to why they are still together. After multiple breakups, Stephanie is unsure about the whole thing. It gets awkward when the foursome go out to dinner again. Cameron seemed like he really didn’t want to be there as Spencer grilled him about making Stephanie cry. I hope he was getting paid well! In the end, Stephanie (looking like a complete mess) breaks it off with Cameron who seems kind of out of it. His laid back attitude and few words remind me of Justin Bobby. And that’s definitely not a good thing.

I think we need to bring back some more Brody or something and stir the pot up a bit. Dare I say The Hills has run out of drama?
