Time for some diva action!

Kelly Kelly & Melina v. Beth Phoenix & Jillian Hall (w/Santino Marella & Slamatha)

Looks like Beth Phoenix has a hot lady fan that loves her.  They pose for a photo opp while Santino is jealous.  The bell sounds and Jillian and Kelly start off.  Kelly goes up, she spins Jillian around and gets tripped up by Beth.  Jillian gets two before pulling the hair.  She continues torturing Kelly at the ropes.  Kelly’s shorts are close to be pulled off, so that would be cool.  Kelly looks for Melina, but Jillian is a bitch and knocks her off.  Rollup by Kelly Kelly and that is all she wrote.  Just for the record, neither Beth nor Melina tagged into the match.

Winners: Kelly Kelly & Melina
Grade: D-

Post match, Melina gets dumped again and the divas attack Kelly Kelly.  HELLFIRE & BRIMSTONE erupts and Kane saves the day, but Kelly is scared a bit as she backpedals to the corner.  Kane offers his hand to help her up, but she rolls out of the ring instead.  Kane follows and they run away to the back.  What the Hell?

We’re back to the show and we recap the “disturbing situation” involving the K’s.  During the break, Kelly continues to hide, but Jaime Noble gets shoved to the door.  Kane catches up to her and says that they need to talk.  Please let this not be another Lita-like angle.

Rey Mysterio is out!

Rey Mysterio v. Deuce

Manu & Cody Rhodes are at ringside.  Deuce gets the microphone and wants to say that he wants to be introduced by his name.  Synn Snuka is his real name.

They lock up and Snuka overpowers Rey at the get go.  Rey tries the kicks, but Snuka is too powerful so to speak.  Spinning Bossman Slam connects for two.  Snuka remains in control as he sends Rey to the corner hard.  He drops a knee to his back before applying a rear naked choke.  Rey can’t get to the ropes.  Splash misses and Mysterio hits a dropkick.  He ducks a clothesline and he hits the hurrancurana!  Snuka is back up and he sends Rey to the ropes.  On the rebound, Rey goes up and crashes down hard on the mat.  Off the ropes, Deuce CRACKS REY IN THE MOUTH!  That gets a close two count.  He argues with the ref a bit.  This allows Rey to get back into it.  Rey bails off the ropes and he gets caught!  Rey sends Snuka to the 619 position, but as he does it Snuka rolls out of the ring.  Seated senton connects and Rey and Cody get into it for the DQ.

Winner via DQ: Rey Mysterio
Grade: C+

Manu gets involved and he creams Rey.  The Legacy go after Mysterio, but he escapes, but Mike Knox attacks from behind and he drills Rey to the mat with the KnoxOut.  The bearded man stares at Rey.

Jim Duggan is in the ring.  Sadly, he wishes he wasn’t.

“Hacksaw” Jim Duggan v. Chris Jericho

Chris Jericho is dressed in a suit right now and he is very pissed off.  He takes the microphone from Lillian and he speaks.  He is refusing to wrestle tonight!  He says how he the 2008 Superstar of the Year and how he carried the show for the last year.  It’s a slap to his face that he has to face Duggan tonight.  He calls Jim Duggan the bottom of the barrel talent like him.  He won’t face anyone unless it is for a title or if it is against a worthy superstar.  He leaves the ring and heads back up to the top of the stage.

Unofficial Winner via forfeit: “Hacksaw” Jim Duggan

Back to the boiler room where Kane tries to talk to Kelly Kelly some more.  It seems that Kelly Kelly is seeing someone else.  He demands her to spill the beans.

Up Next: Exclusive Armageddon footage!

Commercials.

The Steelers are in the house tonight!

JBL makes his way to the stage sans limo.  He wants us to watch what happened at Armageddon.  Shawn says that the economy hit him hard and that he is in a tough spot.  Shawn lived the high life during his 20’s.  The 30’s cost him a lot of money surgery wise.  He invested in the stock market, but his adviser messed up.  So because of this, he took JBL up on his offer.  He hates him, but he has money.  He does not want to be like everyone else who work at a grocery store or wrestle at a high school gym!  If that’s not a knock on Flair and Hogan, I don’t know what is.  The handshake seals the deal.

We’re back live and we go back to Kelly Kelly being consoled by Mickie James and Candice Michelle.  They talk the Miz, and she leaves.

The Final Grade for WWE RAW 12.15.2008: B-

RAW had some good and bad moments tonight, but the tag team and handicap matches far exceeded my expectations for RAW.  Synn Snuka looked good against Mysterio and Ziggler wasn’t as good with Haas as he was with R-Truth and Batista.  The Kane/Kelly Kelly/Miz love triangle turns me off, but I’ll give this another week before i ultimately cast an opinion on it.  Decent follow up edition of RAW as we know the road to the Royal Rumble in six weeks.  Until later this week, keep tuned to the Pulse for all the latest news and rumors!
