Peace has a color…and it’s blu!

“An eye for an eye leaves the whole world blind.” Sony Pictures Home Entertainment has unveiled plans to release Richard Attenborough’s 1982 biopic Gandhi on Blu-ray early next year to coincide with the film’s “25th Anniversary”. The 8-time Oscar winner stars Best Actor Ben Kingsley as Mohandas “Mahatma” Gandhi (1869-1948), the Indian revolutionary who led a nonviolent resistance against British rule. The film also stars Candice Bergen as photojournalist Margaret Bourke-White, Edward Fox as Indian army general Reginald Dyer, and John Gielgud as Lord Irwin. Gandhi comes to Blu-ray on February 17th.
