TNA News: Results From Tokyo Dome Show

News, Spoilers

Results for TNA’s Tokyo Dome show, with details on big wins for the Motor City Machine Guns and Team 3D.

James Caldwell at Pro Wrestling Torch has results for TNA’s joint show with New Japan Pro Wrestling, which was taped and will air later this month on Spike TV.

The show included two matches that saw TNA talent win gold. Team 3D defeated Togi Makabe & Toru Yano in a hardcore match to win the IWGP Tag Team Titles, while Shelley and Sabin went over Yujiro and Naito for the IWGP Jr. Heavyweight Tag Titles.

The main event also involved TNA talent, as Kurt Angle and Kevin Nash formed “an honorary Main Event Mafia team” with former NWO Japan member Masahiro Chono and Riki Chosu, which went over Giant Bernard (A-Train) & Takashi Iizuka & Tomohiro Ishii & Karl Anderson.

Caldwell also quotes TNA’s Press Release, which says that “several big names from New Japan will be traveling to the United States to compete.”
