PWInsider.com is reporting that Christian Cage’s TNA contract expired last week and he has been taken off of TNAWrestling.com’s roster page.
According to Mike Johnson, Cage had been increasingly difficult to deal with back in October, and less enthusiastic about TNA, telling Jeff Jarrett and Dixie Carter he was leaning towards leaving. If he stayed, he would have likely been booked as the leader of the Front Line stable, but now most believe he’ll be soon joining the Smackdown roster.
