Chevy Chase To Guest Star on Chuck

Chuck Bartowski will meet one of his heroes later this season, and he’ll look a lot like Chevy Chase.

The Fletch and Caddyshack star and comedy icon will appear in three episodes of Chuck this spring, NBC says. He’ll play a computer genius and founder of an Apple-ish company who’s probably hiding a few secrets.

Chuck (Zachary Levi) has looked up to Ted Roark (Chase) for most of his life and has dreamed of working for Roark Instruments. He will learn over the course of the three-episode arc, though, that the company’s beautiful computers and chipper employees may be masking something.

Chase joins a roster of guest stars this season that includes Michael Clarke Duncan, Melinda Clarke, John Larroquette, Morgan Fairchild and Bruce Boxleitner. He also guest-starred on Brothers & Sisters last season, guest anchored a Weekend Update segment on Saturday Night Live in 2007 and did a memorable turn on “Law & Order in 2006.

His other credits include the National Lampoon’s Vacation series, Spies Like Us and The Three Amigos. He also stars in a pair of independent film due for release this year, Not Another Not Another Movie and the Polish brothers’ Stay Cool.

I'm not embarrassed to say that my favorite television show of all-time is The O.C. I live by the motto "you can't fight fate!" More importantly, I watch WAY too much television, but I do so for the benefit of everyone reading this now. So to my mom and my wife, I say thanks for reading! To everyone else that might stumble across this, remember TiVo should be your best friend!
