Shows

Episode #100 kicks off with a doctor turned culinary chef showing symptoms of, and diagnosing herself, with cyanosis.

Meanwhile, Thirteen starts to display side effects of Foreman’s trial drug, which he switched out with the placebo at the end of “Big Baby”. Foreman is forced to admit to Thirteen what he’s done.

Taub considers his lack of fulfillment in life after speaking with patient Dr. Miller. She quit her job in the medical field to do something that she felt was more worthwhile, despite the drastic change in environments. He discusses having children with his wife. Wilson has a similar discussion with Dr. Miller, confiding in her that he still has not moved out of Amber’s apartment.

Foreman goes to deliver test results to Dr. Miller to find that she had scratched straight through her skull in her sleep with no superficial cause. House suggests polyneuropathy–nerve malfunction–following an MRI.

Foreman performs an MRI on Thirteen and finds that she has developed a brain tumor. After being coerced by House to wait before admitting what he’s done to the pharmaceutical company sponsoring the trial, Foreman goes home to find that Thirteen has lost her sight.

Foreman and House are forced to radiate Thirteen to shrink her tumor. Both Thirteen and Kutner criticize Foreman’s ethical dilemma of contacting the drug company for help.

Throughout the episode, Cuddy beings to act out by sabotaging House. He finds his cane missing, tripwires in his office, and maintainance signs on functional elevators. When they confront one another later on Cuddy points out their role reversal, pointing out their immature relationship.

Taub and Kutner discover a hemangioma and surrounding masses in Dr. Miller. She soon begins to bleed out from every orifice. House suggests destroying both her tumors and the surrounding healthy tissue to stop bleeding.

House diagnoses her with atopic endometriosis, caused by her recent surgery to remove uterean cysts and triggered by her menstruation.

Thirteen regains her vision, but Foreman still faces the task of admitting to breaking protocol in the trial. He does so, but is only barred from participating in future trials and Thirteen is also kicked off of the trial.

The final montage sees Taub embracing his wife despite their differing attitudes towards having kids, and Wilson washing a coffee cup that still had the stain of Amber’s lipstick on its rim.
