Fencing, fighting, torture, revenge, giants, monsters, chases, escapes, true love, miracles…The Princess Bride has it all. In Rob Reiner’s film, written by William Goldman (based on his 1973 novel), a grandfather (Peter Falk) tells his grandson (Fred Savage) the story of Westley (Cary Elwes), a farmhand who sets out to rescue the beloved Buttercup (Robin Wright Penn) from a forced marriage to Prince Humperdinck (Chris Sarandon).

The story also features a cast of characters including Inigo Montoya (Mandy Patinkin), hunting the six-fingered man who killed his father; enormous Turkish wrestler Fezzik (Andre the Giant); and criminal Vizzini (Wallace Shawn). The not so basic, average, everyday, ordinary, run-of-the-mill, ho-hum fairy tale comes to Blu-ray on March 17th.

I'm not embarrassed to say that my favorite television show of all-time is The O.C. I live by the motto "you can't fight fate!" More importantly, I watch WAY too much television, but I do so for the benefit of everyone reading this now. So to my mom and my wife, I say thanks for reading! To everyone else that might stumble across this, remember TiVo should be your best friend!
