Paul London Interview: Shoots On McMahon, Kidman, Bourne’s SSP, Bubba Dudley, And His Entrance Music!

London does some shooting his first post-WWE interview.

The Torch has highlights from Paul London’s first post-WWE interview, with False Count Radio (which you can download here). Apparently, he was as bemused by his treatment from WWE creative as many IWC members were.

The interview starts with London talking about how much he disliked his entrance music (WWE apparently ignored his attempts to replace it with music composed by his friends), which sets the tones for the comments Caldwell reprints.

London talks about his part in the McMahon limo explosion angle. Even he thinks that put him in the doghouse with management permanently (his side of the story is that he didn’t know what was going on, and was just told to act befuddled). He thinks that led to a personal vendetta against him by Vince, which is why Evan Bourne was allowed to use the Shooting Star Press after London had been told not to use it. He even gets a knock in on Bourne’s, saying “So I guess he (McMahon) wanted a lackluster Shooting Star.”

He also wasn’t a fan of tagging with Kidman or working with Bubba (Brother Ray) Dudley during their feud. He did put over D-Von and his most recent tag partner, Brian Kendrick though. He says that he and Kendrick “had each other’s back.”
