Despite their recent bout of releases, TNA has signed Madison Rayne, formerly known as Ashley Lane in SHIMMER, to a contract. She will now be a regular member of the Knockouts division. There has been talk of adding a third person to the Beautiful People team, with Madison’s name being mentioned a lot in discussions, according to PWInsider.com.
At ClubWWI.com, everybody’s favourite fat cowboy, Braden Walker (Chris Harris), had the following to say about Christian’s WWE re-debut – “I did catch a glimpse of that and I’m really happy for Christian. He’s a good friend of mine. I actually called him right after I’d seen that. But I think back to what I was saying before about the whole TNA thing. It’s almost like if they created you, they’re willing to market you and obviously Christian deserves that spot times ten. I wouldn’t have been surprised if they brought him out on Raw.” He also noted, however, that in going to TNA Christian may have scuppered his chances of WWE management placing their trust in him, hence his failure to be put on Smackdown in the Edge/Jeff/Matt storyline. “Who knows? Maybe that’s his punishment. They’re thinking to themselves, ‘We’ll have him on ECW, you know, feuding with the new guy (Jack Swagger.)”
