Woody Allen Taps Hopkins and Brolin for Next London Pic

Woody Allen, the director who has released at least one new movie every year since 1977 has begun casting for his next film.

Sir Anthony Hopkins and James Brolin are the first to join what is said to be an ensemble cast. As per usual, Allen is keeping the title and plot strictly under wraps.

The film is set to begin shooting this summer in London.

Allen’s 2008 film, Vicky Cristina Barcelona is up for an Oscar for Best Supporting Actress, Penelope Cruz.

His latest film, Whatever Works, starring Evan Rachel Wood, Larry David and Michael McKean is due out later this year.
