Lots of news came out of Hasbro’s Press Meetings today, here is the Marvel news:
Iron Man
-New 6″ers including Hulk Buster, Punisher Iron Man, Titanium Man, & Crimson Dynamo
-New Animated Series figures in a 3 3/4″ due out in the Fall
Wolverine
-Both X-Men Origins & Wolverine and The X-Men figures will debut on the shelves March 1 in 3 3/4″ format.
-Movie line will be a mixture of Comic & Movie styled figures
-6″ Original X-Men movie 2-packs (Wolverine/Beast, Cyclops/Colossus)
-Superhero Squad 4-packs
-SDCC Exclusive Logan Mighty Muggs with retractable claws
Spider-Man
-Animated 6″ figures continue, focus on the Sinister 6
-Classic 6″ figures continue, new figures include Juggernaut & Tarantula
SuperHero Squad
-Animated Show in the fall
-New characters including Bishop, Iron Fist, Silver Samurai, & Nova
-New playsets & vehicles
Marvel Universe
-Standard line for Marvel figures from here on out in the 3 3/4″ scale
-Wave 1 & 2 will hit soon
-Wave 3 will have Black Spider-Man, Hand Ninja, Classic Iron Man, Ms. Marvel with variant, New Punisher, The Thing
-Wave 4 will have Red Hulk, Union Jack, Hobgoblin, Blade & Moon Knight plus more
-Wave 5 preview of Electro
-Mail-away figure of Nick Fury
-Secret Wars Comic 2-Packs (similar to GI Joe & Star Wars Comic Packs) will include Wolverine & Human Torch, Spider-Man & Thunderball, Captain America & The Claw. Each will come with a 25th Anniversary printing of a Secret Wars comic.
-WalMart Exclusive Gigantic Battles will have a regular sized MU figure with a much larger figure. Iron Man/Goliath & Captain America/Giant Skrull will be the first ones out.
-SDCC Exclusive of a Black & White Captain America.
