The cast for the NCIS spinoff is filling out nicely.

Louise Lombard, Peter Cambor and Daniela Ruah are the latest three names to join the spinoff of NCIS, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The trio joins Chris O’Donnell and LL Cool J, who are currently in negotiations for the two leads in the spinoff.

Lombard, who has worked on CBS previously on CSI, is set to play the female lead Clara, an sharp investigator who used to be a major in the military police.

Cambor, recently on Notes From the Underbelly, will portray operational psychologist Nate, who acts as the team’s conscience and as a walking cultural encyclopedia.

Finally, Ruah will play the bright and wide-eyed Kensi, who studied forensics and criminology in college.

The spinoff’s pilot episode will air as an episode of NCIS before becoming a show in its own right.

More importantly, I watch WAY too much television, but I do so for the benefit of everyone reading this now. So to my mom and my wife, I say thanks for reading! To everyone else that might stumble across this, remember TiVo should be your best friend!
