Third Season of My Boys Set To Premiere on March 31

My Boys will belly back up to the bar in the spring.

TBS has set a March 31 premiere date for the third season of its comedy, which stars Jordana Spiro as a Chicago sportswriter. Like the show’s previous season, it will run for nine episodes.

When the series left off last fall, Bobby (Kyle Howard) approached P.J. (Spiro) on the eve of his wedding to someone else and was about to confess his feelings for her — when his brother Jack (Billy Burke) emerged from her room. The season premiere will presumably deal with the fallout from that scene.

Regular cast members Reid Scott, Jim Gaffigan, Kellee Stewart, Jamie Kaler and Michael Bunin will all be back as well.

My Boys averaged about 1.5 million viewers per week in first-run airings last season, a bit of an improvement over its first seasons. It also pulled in solid numbers among its target audience of adults 18-34.

I'm not embarrassed to say that my favorite television show of all-time is The O.C. I live by the motto "you can't fight fate!" More importantly, I watch WAY too much television, but I do so for the benefit of everyone reading this now. So to my mom and my wife, I say thanks for reading! To everyone else that might stumble across this, remember TiVo should be your best friend!
