PWI’s Dave Scherer has conflicting reports from his readers about comments Hulk Hogan made on the Bubba the Love Sponge radio show about an appearance at this year’s Wrestlemania, following negotiations last week between Hogan and McMahon. One reader reported that Hogan and McMahon hadn’t come up with an idea for him to be on the show, but the door was still open for him to appear. Another reader said that there was no way Hogan would appear at this year’s show, and the “door is still open” comment refered to future appearances in WWE.
PWI reader Daniel Jefford recapped Mickey Rourke’s appearance on BBC Show Friday Night With Jonathan Ross. Rourke reiterated that he had been talked out of working a match at ‘Mania but would be attending.
