For the 5th March episode…
– Alex Shelley beats Kiyoshi. Suicide attacks Shelley and Chris Sabin afterwards and grabs the X Division Title.
– LAX come out to accept Beer Money’s Off The Wagon Challenge.
– Mick Foley interviews Sting, thanking him for the rescue from the Main Event Mafia last week. Foley puts over The Wrestler (and be sure to check out the movie’s star at WWE WrestleMania 25, folks) and says he wants to save Sting from the Mafia because TNA needs him at $500,000 a year. Sting says he only has a problem with Kurt Angle and this brings out Kevin Nash, Booker T and Scott Steiner. Nash says The Wrestler sucks (and be sure to see Mickey Rourke at WWE WrestleMania 25, folks) and tells Foley to shut up. Nash tells Sting the belt can stay in the Mafia or Sting can turn his back on the Mafia, the decision is his.
– Angle and Jay Lethal have a brawl. Angle steals Lethal’s suit. Awesome. He should steal Don West’s face too.
– LAX beat Beer Money by DQ in the Off The Wagon Challenge after Hernandez was hit with a chair. Team 3D make the save with the amazing power of FAT and challenge Beer Money to a FAT-OFF at Destination X.
– Angle comes out and promises to eat Jarrett and Sting or something. Jarrett turns up and they brawl until Angle gets thrown out of the building to go get ice cream. Jarrett, Team 3D and Foley celebrate in the ring in a scene even more pitiful than Lex Luger’s failure frolics at SummerSlam 1993.
