Alright, fellow film freaks! It’s time to mark our calenders!

Warner Bros. will release Guy Ritchie’s Sherlock Holmes starring Robert Downey, Jr. and Jude Law on Dec. 25 of this year, instead of Nov. 13.

Also, the final Harry Potter film (Part II of the Deathly Hollows) got a release date — July 15, 2011!

The studio also fleshed out its 2010 release calendar, dating a number of projects, including Green Lantern, which debuts Dec. 17.

Couple of Dicks starring Robin Williams, picked up in turnaround by Warner Bros., is set to open Jan. 29, 2010, followed by a remake of Clash of the Titans on March 26. Christopher Nolan’s Inception opens July 16, and Jonah Hex starring Josh Brolin on Aug. 6. Zack Synder’s Sucker Punch will be released on Oct. 8.

In terms of any other changes to WBs’ 2009 slate, The Hangover will open June 5, one week earlier than its original release date of June. 12. The studio also has taken Wild Child off the calendar. The film starring Emma Roberts was to have opened May 8. A new date has not been announced.

The relocation of Sherlock Holmes to Christmas Day comes after Sony moved Roland Emmerich’s 2010 onto the Nov.13 date.

Also opening on Dec. 25 are two family pics, Disney’s The Princess and the Frog and Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakuel. There’s also an untitled Nancy Meyers comedy set to open that day.
