WWE DotCom Delivery – Week of 02/28/09

Reviews, Shows, Webshows

For a second week in a row, a DotCom favorite was screwed by WWE. Last week Scotty Goldman was future endeavored and this week John Morrison (And Miz) lost to CM Punk in a MITB qualifying match. I’ve predicted several times in the past that Morrison will win this year’s MITB and go on to win a major championship and now it seems like it won’t happen. I hope they’ll find a way to get him in that match somehow. Besides, MITB needs Morrison’s spots. So get him in that match.

Cryme Tyme have a special guest this week on Word Up – hip-hop artist E-40 (I feel so out of the loop since I’ve never heard of him). Sorry, but I couldn’t understand anything that Shad, JTG and E-40 were saying, and quite frankly, JTG also seemed somewhat clueless during the episode. Watch it, if you have to.

Santino does Oscar on a spicy and juicy edition of Santino’s Casa. Yes, it’s Santino “post game show” of this year’s Academy Awards. Did you know that Brangelina are actually Glamarella wannabes? He continues do take some shots at some of Hollywood’s biggest stars (And Ryan Seacrest). Santino had a really good time at the Oscars, despite having his wallet stolen by some slumdog kids.

The Miz and John Morrison present the second annual Dirty Awards on this week’s edition of The Dirt Sheet. Among the winners – Evan Bourne (Biggest Virgin) and Legacy (Most Oil). They take a brutal, yet funny stab at Scotty Goldman with a nomination for Best Internet Video. Ouch. Of course they end up winning this category themselves, and rightfully so.

Finally, Josh Mathews presents the Weekly Top Five. John Cena vs. Big Show from SmackDown is opens at number 5, followed by HBK vs. JBL (With Kozlov’s attack) at number 4. Number 3, naturally, is the excellent Christian vs. Swagger match from ECW. Kozlov’s surprising victory over The Undertaker holds the second spot and finally, Triple H hunting for Legacy is this week’s number 1.
