DiCaprio to star in Inception

Disc Announcements, News

Fresh off the success of the biggest film of 2008, The Dark Knight, director Christopher Nolan is taking a break from the caped crusader to shoot the science-fiction film Inception, which is slated for a summer 2010 release. Now comes word that the star has been cast.

Variety has announced that Leonardo DiCaprio will star the picture.

The project will shoot later this year, with Nolan and Emma Thomas producing. DiCaprio’s deal is in final negotiations.

Script has been kept under wraps but the studio calls it a contemporary sci-fi actioner set within the architecture of the mind.
